Registries

One engine. Several public files. A status next to every one of them.

Every registry below publishes on a schedule and changes without telling the people on it. That is the whole product: your roster on one side, the publisher's file on the other, and a monthly statement of what moved.

Medicare revalidation is the product that exists. The rest are labelled honestly: in build, testing, or not doing. We would rather show you a short list that is true.

01

The publisher ships a file

Not a lookup form. A downloadable file with a date on it. If we cannot point at the file, we do not watch it.

02

Your roster is the other half

A CSV of the people or entities you are responsible for. Ten rows or five thousand. Same engine.

03

The product is the difference

New, changed, gone, and past due. A reminder repeats a date you typed. We tell you the publisher moved it.

CMS Revalidation Due Date List

Live

Every enrollment CMS has assigned a revalidation window, with the due date when one is published.

Publisher
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
Cadence
Monthly
What moves
Due dates move, enrollments appear, enrollments disappear, and some rows read TBD for months.
Who holds the roster
DME suppliers, group practices, and the billing companies that file for them

The product that exists. Free NPI lookup, paid roster reconciliation.

Open

Next, in that order

Ordered by whether the file exists and whether the buyer already holds a roster. Not by how large the market sounds.

NPPES / NPI Registry

In build

Every NPI, its practice address, taxonomy, and deactivation date.

Publisher
CMS
Cadence
Daily
What moves
An NPI can be deactivated while the enrollment record still looks alive.
Who holds the roster
Same buyer. A deactivated NPI breaks claims before CMS ever deactivates the enrollment.

Read-only checks ship with the roster. Diffing the full file is not built.

OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

In build

Parties excluded from federal health care programs, with a monthly supplement of additions and reinstatements.

Publisher
HHS Office of Inspector General
Cadence
Monthly, by the 10th
What moves
New exclusions, reinstatements, and name corrections. The full file is replaced each month.
Who holds the roster
The same roster, screened monthly. Compliance, HR, and billing all own a piece of it.

No standalone screening product. This is a second column on the roster, not a replacement for a screening vendor.

Open

SAM.gov Exclusions

In build

Government-wide debarments, suspensions, and ineligibility across every federal agency.

Publisher
U.S. General Services Administration
Cadence
Daily
What moves
Not health care specific. A vendor can be clear on LEIE and still be barred here.
Who holds the roster
Health care groups with federal contracts, and any roster that touches federal money.

Only useful next to LEIE. On its own it produces false comfort.

Open

IRS Automatic Revocation of Exemption List

Testing

Organizations whose tax-exempt status was automatically revoked for three consecutive years of not filing.

Publisher
Internal Revenue Service
Cadence
Monthly
What moves
New revocations, and reinstatements that leave the original revocation on the list forever.
Who holds the roster
CPA firms with nonprofit clients, fiscal sponsors, associations with chapters, grantmakers

SEO and manual service only. No dashboard, no data pipeline yet.

Open

Not doing, and why

A page that says no is worth more than a page that says coming soon forever.

State Medicaid exclusion and sanction lists

Not doing

State-level exclusions, terminations, and administrative actions that never reach the federal file.

Publisher
50 state Medicaid agencies, separately
Cadence
Varies by state, mostly monthly
What moves
Every state formats and publishes differently. There is no federal index.
Who holds the roster
Multi-state providers and staffing agencies. Coverage is the hard part, not the matching.

We will not claim 50-state coverage. A directory with stale links is worse than no directory.

Open

State professional license boards

Not doing

License status and expiry for attorneys, physicians, CPAs, and trades.

Publisher
50+ boards, by profession
Cadence
Varies, no feed
What moves
Status changes are not published as a file. Most boards only offer a lookup form.
Who holds the roster
Firms tracking many licensed people

No file means no diff. Expiration trackers already own this at $49/month.

CLE / MCLE compliance

Not doing

Credit requirements and reporting windows. Transcripts are behind a bar login.

Publisher
State bars, separately
Cadence
Per reporting cycle
What moves
Rules change yearly. There is no public transcript to reconcile against.
Who holds the roster
Law firm administrators

Without a public file there is no product, only a reminder. We are not building a reminder.

Three things we will never claim

  • That a name match is an exclusion. A match needs an identifier check.
  • That we cover 50 state lists. We will say which ones we cover, or say nothing.
  • That a date in our product came from anywhere except the publisher's file.

The Medicare product has a rule that everything on the page traces to the CMS file. Every registry added after it inherits that rule.
